Indians can live 5.2 years more if air pollution reduced


In India, the average life expectancy has shortened by 5.2 years because of an increase of air pollution, according to a new study. It also said that people in the national capital of New Delhi, which is the worst polluted city, could add 9.4 years more years to their lives if air pollution was reduced from the present levels.

UAE launches first Space mission


The United Arab Emirates launched its first space mission with the Hope Probe blasting off from Japan’s Tanegashima Space Center for a seven-month journey to Mars.

Adult Children transmits coronavirus as adults do

UN Humanitarian Chief calls for more funds to help the poor

Universe is 13.8 million years old

The scientists have discovered that the universe is about 13.8 million years old, which sheds light on better understanding the origins of the universe, how the universe may end, where we are going and when that ending may occur.


A group of scientists concluded the age by studying the image of the oldest light in the universe. The Atacama Cosmology Telescope measures the oldest light in the universe, known as the cosmic microwave background. The 140 team of scientists calculated the age of the universe by calculating these measures.  The researchers from the Princeton University led the research.

India calls for reformed multilateralism in post-COVID-19 world

Stating that the path to achieve sustainable peace and prosperity is through multilateralism, India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi said called for a ‘reformed multilateralism’ in a post-COVID-19 world, which reflects the realities of the contemporary world.

Modi  said this while delivering a keynote address virtually at this year’s High-Level Segment of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) session on Friday, July 17, at the United Nations in New York.
