Oral sex is fueling an ‘epidemic’ of throat cancers in the US and UK, a new study says.
Dr Hisham Mehanna, of the Institute of Cancer and Genomic Sciences at the University of Birmingham, said there has been a rapid increase in a specific type of throat cancer called oropharyngeal cancer which affects the area of the tonsils and back of the throat.
