Global pay increased by 2.7% in 2023, following a 1.8% rise in 2022. This marks the largest wage gain in over 15 years. Emerging economies drove wage growth, with a near-6% increase in 2023. Developed nations saw modest growth of just 0.9% last year, said the
UN International Labour Organization (ILO).
